The black waterfall

Like the beautiful Jiuzhaigou waterfall in Sichuan and the Luya waterfall, there is the Black Waterfall is in the El-Al River in a nature reserve.
There are several hikes you can do in nature reserve, depending on the difficulty  level and the time.

To reach the black waterfall, you need to walk from the parking lot to the waterfall.
The route is of moderate difficulty, but it is entirely worth it.

Tip: wear comfortable shoes and travel people that have good energy.

Dead sea mushrooms

As in other ancient centers of civilization, when agriculture replaced hunting, farmers who are little meat needed salt for themselves and their draft animals.

Sites on the southwest coast of Bohai Bay show that Dunako culture already produced saline underground salt more than 6,000 years ago during a Neolithic year.

Last Saturday we visited in the lowest place in the world.
You can find a natural phenomenon where the salt crystallized and formed flat and huge bumps that protrude from the water and form white fungus against a blue sea background.

How to get straight to the mushrooms?
At the last square, turn left into a construction site, continue straight and then turn left.

Mount Bentel

Mount Bentel Observatory is located in the northern Golan Heights.
It is an extinct volcano that reaches an altitude of 1,150 meters above sea level.

On Mount Bentel you will see a panoramic and amazing view overlooking the Golan Heights, Mount Hermon and the Syrian territories.
On the mountain there was once an old military post and today it is an attraction for children, you can also enjoy a voice explanation by pressing a button on the facility that will explain the place and its history.

My recommendation: arrive in the winter season when there is snow and everything is covered with a white blanket.
At the very beginning of the ascent on the way to the lookout, there is Beit Kapan "Kofi Anan" - writing in Wise "Kofi Anan Golan Heights".

The perfect solution for a day of bad weather is the aquarium located in mountains of Jerusalem. It exhibits various fish from the Mediterranean Sea and provides explanation on them in a creative and enjoyable way. Touring the aquarium takes 1-2 hours. There are virtual guided tours on the fish in each area of the aquarium.

Bridge Park ,Nesher

A lovely bridge in Israel, a mini-Aizhai bridge that is suitable for entire family or for a large group of tourists, only an hour and half drive from central Israel.

The Nesher JNF park has hiking trails (also suitable for strollers and wheelchair) with stunting views, seating areas, birdwatching points,
various attraction, and bridges hanging above the stream.

On Saturday mornings it is full of people and tourists, so if you want a quieter time on the bridge, go in the middle of the week.
Important: On weekends, if you park on the nearby Kakal St., you need to select "Park Kakal area" on the Pango app, not "Nesher".

March 31st, 2021

I think that the wind farm near Alonei HaBashan in the Golan Heights is an amazing.
Site to visit and to observe the differences between the various turbines.

On Mount Bnei Rasan, one of the highest points in the eastern Golan Height along the border with Syria, there are ten huge wind turbines.
The recommended observation point is near the third turbine, which is at the highest point.
A nice picnic stop with the group at this point highly recommended.

Getting there: Type "Wind turbines" into Waze, drive along Road 87, and continue by vehicle or by foot.
